Landscapes
So far I have explored a range of landscape subjects, urban/rural, holiday destination/local area. In each case I have aimed to capture the atmosphere of the location. Now I am drawn to the less conventional landscapes, allotments and run down urban areas.

Bad weather but New York at its most interesting.

Shafts of light
I find the contrast in lighting in urban areas fascinating. Light pours into the cavernous streets only to be engulfed by the skyscrapers. Luckily for the city dweller artificial light from vehicles and shop fronts gives relief from the gloom. 16"x 20"
